Summer Overnight Riding Camps

The Summer Riding Camps are for ages 8 - 14 years, maximum of 6 riders per camp. Basic horseskills, outdoor skills, healthy eating, swimming, and a treasure hunt on horse back will be some of the activities the youth will experience at Birch Springs Riding Camps.

 

All riders must have a current Horse Council Membership www.hcbc.ca

 

The camp will teach Western & English disciplines. All riders will be supplied with a horse. All children will be accountable for simple daily tasks such as feeding and watering their horse as well as stall/paddock cleaning, and horse grooming.

 

Camps are 4 days and 3 nights, includes: Accommodations, Home cooked meals, all training and education, and all necessary equipment. With a final Horseshow onsite and BBQ for families on the final day of camp.

 

Accommodations include but are not limited to a loft apartment attached to the barn, the hay barn, and a sleeping loft above the horse stalls. A two room cabin or tents outside the horse pasture. Whatever the participants choose for accommodations they will be mere feet away from their equine partners.    

 

Horse Camp registrations require a $300.00 deposit, with the balance $332.50 due 30 days before the camp starts, for a total price of $632.50. Camp fees will be subject to GST included in above price. All camps are limited to 6 riders. Cancellations are non-refundable unless another rider is found for the cancelled camp.
